Appalachian Autumn Movement

The sound of Rusty Black birds comb through the forest canopy with song as they migrate down the mountain chain into the south. The motion of transition between summer and winter, the curtain of leaves drop off giving a hemlock tree access to the open sky. The roots of the hemlock tree spent all summer digging deeper into the rocky ridge tilling stone and breaking them down. Colchester Pond, Vermont 2018 24" x 48" $1500 (44.549927, -73.115041)
